Homemade After Hair Removal Lotion
After hair removal the skin is irritated, sensitive and vulnerable. The best thing we can do for our skin in this situation is to calm, disinfect and protect it.
There are many conventional after hair removal treatments, but because of the wide open pores the skin absorbs fully any preservatives, petroleum products, parabens and other nasty ingredients we don’t want and they quickly pass into the bloodstream.
To avoid that, we can easily make our own DIY After Hair Removal Lotion. It will calm and disinfect the skin and will suppress the inflammation.
2 tablespoons of almond oil
2 tablespoons of apricot oil
1 tablespoon of tamanu oil
10 drops of lavender essential oil
5 drops of tea tree essential oil
Mix the oils in a dark glass bottle and store in a cool dark place.
You can change the base oils, if you don’t have almond, apricot or tamanu oils. The important thing is to use only chemical free cold-pressed oils.
