Simple yet Effective Homemade Banana Face Masks
Normal to Dry skin
The simplest banana face mask is just to mash a ripe banana and to apply to skin. The fruit itself has wonderful qualities for a decent skin care treatment.
Banana & Sour cream
In a glass bowl mash ½ banana and add 1 teaspoon of sour cream. If you don’t have sour cream, replace it with milk or yogurt. Stir until blended in a smooth puree.
This rich DIY face treatment is very nourishing, regenerating, and smooths out wrinkles. Loads skin with nutrients, making it supple, moisturized and glowing.
Banana, Linseed oil & Oatmeal
A mashed ripe banana, one teaspoon of linseed oil and one tablespoon of ground oatmeal. This homemade mask nourishes, hydrates and soothes the skin.
Banana, Lemon & Clay
Puree half a banana, add 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of clay. Stir well the ingredients. If the mask is too thick, add a little lukewarm water.

Banana & Apple
In a bowl mix half an apple - very finely grated, and half a banana - mashed. Add 3-5 drops of grapeseed oil. Stir to mix the ingredients.

Banana & Honey
Mash one ripe banana, add 2 tablespoons of bee honey and stir until blended.

Banana & Natural oils
The combination of mashed banana and natural oils is perfect for skin care tretment. You just have to pick the oil, depending on your skin needs.
Jojoba and Grapeseed oils for oily skin; Coconut oil for normal to oily skin; Sesame, Almond, Olive oils for normal skin; Apricot Kernel and Wheat Germ oils for dry skin and anti-wrinkle. You can combine 2-3 oils and add a couple of drops of essential oil.

Always apply to cleansed skin - face, neck and décolletage. Wash the mask off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes.
